To provide guidance on the procedures to adopt should an accident or incident occur in the workplace. |
| Course Objectives |
On completion of the course delegates will be able to:
- Understand the broad outline of relevant Health and Safety legislation
- State the meaning of major injury, dangerous occurrence and reportable diseases
- State the meaning of a 3 day lost time accident
- Understand the reporting requirements of RIDDOR
- Conduct a suitable accident investigation to collect data for reporting purposes
- Complete a F2508 and know where to send the notification
