The Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992
Requirements:
Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be provided where risks to health and safety arising from the work cannot be controlled by other means.
The Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 require any PPE provided to be:
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 require the provision of certain fall-arrest equipment, including safety harnesses for work on scaffolds, etc where there is a risk of falling.
The Construction (Head Protection) Regulations 1989 require suitable head protection to be provided against foreseeable risks of head injuries.
